Archive Room

The Crescent Heights High School Archives exists to collect and preserve records and artifacts which document the history of Crescent Heights High School (CHHS) and  its students, staff and alumni.

Its purpose is:

  • to provide reference services to Crescent Heights High School staff, students, alumni  and the Alumni and Friends of  Crescent Heights High School
  • to educate current students about the rich history of the school and its alumni and staff
  • to support exhibits, displays and publications

The Archives receives support from the School, the CHHS Parents Society and the Alumni and Friends of Crescent Heights High School.

Hours of operation

When the school is operating, the  Archives is open every Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and is located in room 401. Students, staff and alumni are welcome to visit. Visitors to the school should contact Iris Sadownik  in advance at to make an appointment.


The Archives is actively seeking donations of records and artifacts that illustrate school life during the nearly 100 years that CHHS has existed. To donate an item, please first e-mail Iris Sadownik to receive a donation form. We are particularly seeking year books for 1971-72, 1973-74, 2008-09.


Surplus  yearbooks are on sale for $20.00 each. All proceeds are used to support the Archives displays in the school.

1989-90, 1995-96, 1996-97, 1997-98, 2000-01, 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04, 2004-05, 2005-06, 2011-12.

CHHS Alumni

The Society of Alumni and Friends of Crescent Heights High School is a registered charitable organization supporting current Crescent students through providing awards, supporting the Archive Room at CHHS, and providing assistance for Crescent Alumni to organize specific class reunions.
