The Society of Alumni and Friends of Crescent Heights High School remembers Flying Officer William Lidstone McKnight, DFC and Bar, one of more than 80 former Crescent students that gave their lives in the Second World War.
A limited edition print of McKnight’s Hat Trick, by artist Michael Martchenko, hangs in the school office of Crescent Heights High School. This painting commemorates William McKnight’s “Hat Trick” (3 victories) on August 30, 1940.
