Student Awards

We are pleased to announce our award winners for 2018: Saiba Aleef, Mmoma Anidu, Jaden Armbruster, Azra-Sultan Jeraj, Madeline Tainsh, Kathryn (Lizzie) Zemp   For 2019, we are pleased to announce that the Society will provide 4 awards of $750.00 to CHHS grade 12 students who intend to enrol in post-secondary programs of at least two years duration, leading to a diploma or degree. Applicants must demonstrate outstanding commitment to their community through volunteer and community service initiatives, while balancing academic success. Financial need is considered. Deadline for applications is May 22, 2019. The funding for these awards comes from the hard work of the Golf Tournament committee and the Society members who support the Golf Tournament. This year’s Tournament is June 18. The Board of the Society makes the selection based on the recommendation of the Awards Committee. The successful applicants will be notified by October 31, 2019. The award will be presented at the school at the Fall Awards Ceremony.
